   How do I cure dry/dead skin?
   I have tried so many exfoliators, moisturizers, scrubs, at this point the only thing I can find that works is rubbing my face with a bath scrubber, which is very bad for the skin which is why I've come for help.

   This problem is so bothersome that I'm about to cry. I'm sick and tired of spending so much money on products that don't even work.

     hi sara im being dead serious last month i had dead skin on my face, and i went to the doctor, and he game me cream called mupirocin ointment usp, 2% i dont know what any of those words mean, but it cleared my skin in a week, i still have half a tube left. hope this helps

   what does Mupirocin OINTMENT USP,2% USED FOR.?
   What dose this ointment treat ? I Looked up the instruction ,ect, on the rear of tube. I had an operation for a Deviated nose just yesterday. when I arrived home I notice the tube in my bag. They never said any thing about this. sooooo before I call my doctor this monday I thought I would ask here. I looked on line but could not fine anything that made sense to me. thank you.

     Mupirocin (also known as Bactroban) may be used for bacterial skin infections or even on bad blemishes (pimples) The USP % will tell you the strength of the cream and the possibilities of what it is used for, the 2% is most likely for mild skin infection or irritation and will help correct and heal the problem. Mupirocins are for Dermatologic use only. Also make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingrediants before use. I think you should call your doctor though just to double check, but i hope this gives you an idea of what it should be used for.

   Armpit Rash . Which Ointment/Cream Too use ?
   Ok , So I Have These Red Dry Skin Looking Rashes Under Both My Armpits . I Went To The Doctor Before For It And They Gave Me A Ointment . I Also Have Other Ointments Too From Different Rashes ( I Have VERY Sensitive Skin) . I Dont Know Which Ones Too Use . Can You Help Me ? Im Stuck Between Mupirocin USP 2% Ointment && Clotrimazole Cream USP 1% . Which One Too Use ??

   • ANSWER:
     Mupirocin is an antibiotic and if you have crusting or weeping could be used. Probably not helpful if you don't have crusting or pain. The clotrimazole is an antifungal agent and helps yeast infections. If you have itch, very red skin and small red spots around the central rash it may be yeast. Both these creams are safe to use. If you have none of the above symptoms the creams may not help you.

   Could this be a STD??
   I'm 18 and I've had these tiny/medium sized pimples / bumps what ever you want to call them on my scrotum for about 3 years now. They are really itchy at times. i have no clue what it is.. Ive been to the doctor and told her my symptoms so she prescibed these 2 creams, which are oxistat cream ( oxiconzole nitrate cream) and mupirocin ointment usp, ive been using it for over 2 weeks i apply the one once a day and the other 3 times a day like it says, it stops some of the itching but the bumps seem to be unchanged.. i need someones advice of what they could be.. i know its not a std since im still a virgin but i could be wrong? can you get a std from not doing any sexual with anyone?. There is a lot of the pimple white colored bumps, there all over, to many to count. They dont really pop.. but i did once and a white thick strand of white stuff came out in a line.. i know its gross, i know i should go to a skin doctor to get it really checked out.. but i hope i can find more out here on yahoo answers. thanks

5. QUESTION:
   Can I use HP Healing cream (which is a topical cream for dog and kittens (it says) ) on my snake?
   So here's the story. I had my new baby corn snake in a tank on top of my other corn snake's tank. I used a strip of tape to hold it down and somehow my little guy got out and got stuck to the tape. I managed to get him off using goo be gone (I bathed him in warmish soapy water after and made sure he was clean of it) but none the less some of the scales and skin stuck from him struggling. He is fine today and he ate but I still know that infection a risk. I am wondering if I can use this HP Healing Cream on him even though it says for puppies and kittens. It does say that some other animals can use it and it is a Homeopath product (which means it is homeopathic ingredients). Please if someone knows what to do in this situation, please let me know. I do have a lot of money to spend but I spent on this one tube. I was thinking it would be okay but would like some help. Thanks to everyone who answers. )
   @ Ferris, I know snakes are very sensitive and when I saw him and he was stuck really really bad, I could think of goo be gone and that scared me to use it but I figured it was that or death and I washed it off right away. Do you think if I looked up each individual ingredient, that it would be ok if they all cleared? Thanks for your answer.

     Not sure about the cream. You have to be VERY cautious with snakes. They're extremely sensitive to different chemicals.

     My snake had a small injury when he escaped his cage. The vet gave us Mupirocin ointment USP,2%. It's safe for snakes (externally obviously). He said you can use it on any open sore or injury the snake has. Apply it twice a day. It's worked well. Mupirocin is an antibiotic that stops the growth of certain harmful bacteria.

     I'm not sure if it is over the counter or not, since I did get it at the vet when I took my snake in. You could call your local pharmacy and check.
